Viki K-Drama Day 2026: If your K-drama watchlist keeps getting longer, now is the perfect time to start checking titles off. Rakuten Viki’s K-Drama Day 2026 is back with one of its biggest celebrations yet, giving fans around the world a chance to stream 10 popular K-dramas for free for a limited time.

Whether you love romantic comedies, mystery thrillers, or emotional dramas, this celebration offers something for every K-drama fan.
What Is Viki K-Drama Day?
K-Drama Day is Rakuten Viki’s annual celebration dedicated to the global Korean drama community. The platform has built a worldwide audience with the help of thousands of volunteer translators who make Korean content available in multiple languages.
Instead of focusing only on new releases, Viki turns this event into a community celebration by unlocking premium content, hosting interactive fan activities, and offering exclusive rewards throughout the week.
Event Dates
- Starts: September 25
- Ends: October 1
During this limited-time event, selected premium dramas become available without requiring a Viki Pass subscription.

Why This Free Week Is Worth Watching

It also helps first-time users discover the platform while giving long-time fans another reason to revisit favorite titles before the free window closes.
Global Fan Events Make the Celebration Bigger
This year’s celebration goes beyond streaming with several community-focused events that bring international fans closer to their favorite stars.
Global Fan Billboard
Fans voted for their favorite shows through a special campaign, and the winning title is being featured on digital billboards across major international cities and U.S. locations.
Exclusive Cast Content
Viewers can enjoy special behind-the-scenes content, including video messages, snack truck moments, and director interviews featuring stars such as:
- Park Ji-hoon
- Lee Hye-ri
- Hwang In-youp
- Cast members from upcoming Viki co-productions
These exclusive clips give fans a closer look at the people behind their favorite dramas.

One of the most exciting parts of K-Drama Day is the chance to win exclusive collectibles.
Lucky fans can enter giveaways for signed Polaroids and special merchandise from well-known actors, including:
- Moon Sang-min
- Park Sung-hoon
- Nam Ji-hyun
Since these promotions are available for a limited time, checking Viki’s official campaign page can help fans stay updated on eligibility and entry rules.

Travel lovers can access booking discounts and enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a complimentary overnight stay in South Korea.

Users in selected regions can receive a one-month free trial of Viki Pass Standard, making it easier to continue watching after the event.
